SFI 25.2 Mustang/LSx build "The Renegade"

Shawn is doing a kick *** job. I am about to explode....We need to hit the track for some shakedown passes for this year. Last year the car really exceeded my expecations in the short amount of time we were at the track. After seeing we had some issues with valve float and some other things that hurt power, this year should be incredible. I don't know why everyone says you need twin 88s to run the number but we're going to with a single.

I wonder if you had valve float from the start or did the springs wear out during the season?
Your car is amazingly quick. I can't wait to see how much you pick up. I hope you'll eventually be able to reach a 7.0 with your LSX platform (if the tech inspectors will let you lol)

the valve float probably only occured on the last couple of passes as we were turning up the boost. The valve springs were still in great shape and tested the same as advertised, they just werent enough for the engine
