Been there, done that! You need to convince Phil to build 2 motors so you can dyno while he is racing. By the time the motor is ready to be pulled you will already know what to do and have it waiting to go.

Unfortunately I could never muster up more than a short block for a back up and the parts were not even mine. Oh well, SOMEBODY will have a seasoned short block ready to go with all the what not to do's sorted out if he can get his car done one day!

Good Luck! I am looking forward to seeing you guys push this block to the extremes and go rounds.

Maybe I can hit the lottery to build a backup motor. This motor has KILLED my bank accounts and credit cards.

Other than the head gaskets, there are no gaskets in this entire engine, everything else is oringed, making mantainance much, much easier and cheaper.

pretty much done

we're moving along, got the back 1/2 of the roof done this morning before 11:00 when I had to go to work. I've got 3 guys working this afternoon trying to finish the front 1/2. Worst case senario is Thursday AM we'll finish the front 1/2 of the garage, either Thursday PM or Friday AM, Brian will come install the lift and we'll start moving everything over. I'd love to have the motor set in the car this weekend.
