What vacuum pump setup are you using?
Actually not at all. I ordered my setup from GZ motorsports to run with my Meziere race pump. Basically he just builds its without the tensioner etc.
They did it for my ASP pulley for the mandrel, pass side head mount that is adjustable for tensioning the belt and everything for about $600...
So GZ can do it for a street or race setup.
Basically the lower pulley bolts on with a longer harmonic balancer bolt (I just bought a longer grade 8 bolt with some blue locktite) and fits nice against front of my asp balancer.
The pump itself pivots like an old school alternator mount where you can adjust it to tension it (its a v-belt drive). So it doesnt need a tensioner.
How come you guys didn't buy the mandrel that Star makes as opposed to buying it elsewhere?
When you listed billet pulley, but can save with a composite pulley, what pulley are you referring to?

The regulator will depend on if you get the sportsman on standard pump. The std pump comes with a built in regulator, the sportsman will require an inline regulator.
I went with Jones Mandrel because i needed more pulley and different length spacers to accomodate the fuel pump.
I went with a moroso fabricated catch can 99 from summit, i didn't see the point in a $300 billet catch can.
Also, I would rather have the billet pulley. The composite looks cheap when you've got a $500+ pump, lol.
I'm not running a belt driven fuel pump. The only thing that I have on the front of the motor that is on a belt is the alternator and crank. The water pump is electric race (Meziere). So could I get the mandrel that they offer?
True, I was like whoa when I saw the price of the catchcan.
If I don't go with Star products, here's my other options:

Personally i wish i would have just called kurt at w2w to order the mandrel kit, that way i would be sure i had everything i needed instead of having to place 3 orders because i forgot a shim or a key or something stupid. Not to mention that if you need help you can always call wheel to wheel and their experience with the motors is well worth the extra few $$ you may have to pay.
I want to make a decision by lunch time. Its either Star, Moroso, or Aerospace. All of them will get the job done.
Give Kurt a call about the mandrel you won't regret it, they use Jones parts, but he knows exactly what you will need so you don't have to make multiple orders.

which is the site I assume you refer to as Jones and they don't list the standard pump, only the high and low end.

I ordered the pump Directly from Star.
