UPDATE!

I painted the rear compartment area and under the hood and started getting some things bolted in. I ended up scraping the stock wiring harness so I could put everything under the dash and make it clean. I went with the painless 12 circuit kit that plugs into the stock column. I will be sorting out the wiring this week. I also am fabbing up a gauge cluster with Autometer Ultralight gauges. The stock wiring that was removed from the car was about 30lbs total. The painless kit is just north of 7 lbs and I will probably add another 3lbs in wires/relays so the total weight reduction for race wiring is about 20lbs.

Thanks for the comments!

I fabricated an autometer gauge cluster today. I did a lot of trimming on the plastic to bring the gauges closer and make the plastic bezel sit almost flat on it. I used the 5" ultralights tach/speedo, 2 5/8 oil pressure, and raptor shift light. The rest of the gauges will be where the radio was with a switch panel where the a/c controls were. I will post pictures tomorrow. The motor plate is also in and the motor is ready to get stuffed. We have a few misc things under the hood and the motor will be dropped in for good. The hood is cut to fit, well close anyway. I will snap a shot of that installed also.

Did you cut the rear fenders like this? Looks good so far, mines pending for sale, sad but I can look at all of your cool cars on LS1TECH and still smile when I am riding my new bike lol

Ok here is some more. Pics were taken with the sun going down so they don't all look great.

I relocated all of the wiring. The stock coil harness was lengthened so the connector is now behind the valve covers. The computer is inside as well as everything else. I haven't loomed anything yet. But you won't see any wires except for the coil wires under the packs, the injector wires, and the TB/MAF wires. But I will be using the weave loom so it looks like the rest of the hoses and matches the carbon fiber valve covers. FWIW, I saved 3.6lbs with the carbon fiber valve covers!

The front-end is quite nice. P/A K-member, Upper/Lower A-arms, 2" Drop Spindles, Afco Shocks, Hypercoil Springs, Strange Spindle-Mount Single Piston Brakes, Bogart D10 Spindle-Mount Wheels. I don't have the official weights, but I will say it's incredibly light. The wheel, tire, and complete brake setup per side is a mere 30lbs, just a few lbs heavier than the stock wheels!

lol. 3 works in progress is down-right stressful. Not only too much work to do, but too little $ to do it lol. How do you decide what order the mods are to be done and to which car?

Hell, 1 is stressful enough for me.

Your car looks killer man, looks like you are really taking your time and doing everything right. I'm sure the end result will be nothing short of amazing.
