Default 25.2 under progress-getting closer to completion

NRC Motorsports (Bob and Jay) are doing all the chassis work on this car. I trailered the car from NY to South Carolina to get this work done, that's how loyal a customer I am. For those that don't know Bob and Jay lived 15 minutes from me here in NY and recently moved to Aiken, South Carolina.

Here are a few pictures of the floor built outside the car. Early stages as of yet, but I will have lots of pictures up as I get them from Bob.

Stay tuned...

LOL, I probably passed you on the way, I just brought my car up north for a 25.5 cage.

Did you get lost trying to find it? First time I went to carolina dragway I ended up in the middle of some little town main street having a sidewalk sale and I couldnt get out

Yes, no bullshit!! One of the reasons Bob and I get along so well. We share many common business practices that we both believe in. Mainly, get the job done quick, and get it done right the 1st time!!!

Along time coming is right! After the chasis is done, it won't be but a few weeks before the car is running and race ready!

I almost got lost going through the town with the water fountain right in the middle of the street, LOL. Thank God for the GPS!!

KP, who's doing your chassis work? How far are you from Carolina Dragway?

I'm about 320 miles from carolina, W2W is doing the cage.

I didnt have GPS, I bought one right after that deal

Good to see some progress, I'm sure yours will be one of the better running LS cars around when its done.

Staying the same for this year, just doing the cage now to get it out of the way, but mainly doing it for safety.

Actually its only 550 miles or so from my house to detroit so you have me beat. But I did run over to Chicago after I dropped the car off to take the kids to the museum of science and industry. Made the whole trip worthwhile.

What kind of mileage did you get on your dmax for the tow?

WOW, thats not bad. I was 830 miles, each way!!

Ready for this:

15.5mpg miles going down, trailer and car.

19.1mpg miles coming home empty. I left the trailer at Bob's place since he has so much room!

Hand calculated. DIC was slightly off. Yes, I am running the Edge/Attitude combo, but after being brain washed on dieselplace.com, I am going to be switching over to the PPE. I also have an intake and an MBRP 4" catback.

The trailer is a Doolitle 16' open trailer. 40' gooseneck is coming this summer!!
