build update:
dzus fastner rails on, and all the holes drilled in hood. more firewall work, and then priming engine bay. lil slow lately - totally my fault.
probs with hood fitment.....after hrs of grinding the hood to get it to fit front to back and sit flush like it should, the sides of the hood have redonkulous gaps!
lost a bit of motivation after nobody offering good tech on how to properly add fiberglass to the edge of the hood and make it strong, so I'm setting it aside and going back to the metal work.
besides...I miss blowing black snot from the welding/grinding

looks great and i know that is alot of work but man you will be so happy when it is all finished. keep it up, 2 words PLASMA CUTTER makes the world go round i did find when cutting those back seat, wheel tub reinforcements out that a torch is the best for that 3 wall steel. lookin good keep updated

I'll throw one on a scale....but I won't be suprised if its in the upper 20lb range.
color is BMP (Bright metallic Purple) only 95 Z28's made this color....not that it makes it more valubale haha.

ugh....droooools....plasma cutter would make things really simple, I know!

pssst - wheel tubs/ttop holder area are all cut out getting ready for mini tub. got the ttop area metal fabbed now and just need to get it stitch welded in. feels good to be working on the ole girl again!
