Default Polluter, Lt's, Vararam, Z06 Results

Mods on my 02 Z06, polluter cam, patriot dual extreme springs, double roller timing chain, Kooks 1 3/4" long tubes with 2.5" pipe, stock ti mufflers, and Vararam intake. Car put down 433 HP and 393 TQ. This set up is great. Car is very crisp. Pulls great from 2000 rpm. In 6th gear I can drop down to 55 mph and pull back up with no surge. Cam does get a little surge on cold start up but that does not last long. Idle is mean even through the stock mufflers. Next wed I should get some track time at Infineon Raceway.

Very impressive numbers! Seeing all these Z06's making such good cam only power is making me want to try and find a set of used LS6 heads for my car

Thanks guys. No heads in the future for me. I am going to go add Nitrous after this. I think a 100 shot should be fun. I am looking forward to hitting the track next Wed.

Pretty good cam only numbers.

Stock intake. The #'s are good but a dyno can say anything. We shall see what it does at the track. I would like to throw a fast on it but no funds for now. If the #'s are accurate I could be pushing 450 by adding a fast without heads. That would make me happy.

My car put 358 on the same dyno stock. Then went to 376 with a tune with no mods. So I managed a 75 hp jump on the same dyno with cam, lt's and intake from bonse stock. Not to shabby.

433-376= 57 rwhp for cam, LTs and air intake, that is a bit weak if you ask me. something is not right here.
Do you have a dyno graph??

433 is pretty good for cam. Synergy did the tune. I will see what it does at the track as a dyno is only a dyno. Also part of the gains u see from a cam and LTs come from the tune. As I already had a aggressive tune, that should take some of the gains away. Hence bone stock no tune to tune, cam and lt's 75 hp gain. I think the numbers are right on. I guess I will find out wed. We only ran the cam up to 6600 rpm. It looks like power was just peaking or maybe still climing at 6600 rpm but I do not want to rev it any higher. I dont have the graph in front of me but I believe torque peaked at 3900 ish rpms. I do have a graph but no scanner, sorry.

why would you compare it to an inferior tune...so if the engine was only running on 7 cyclinders that would count too...

plus dont 02 z06s come with 243 heads
