One question about the tuning thus far. It was mentioned this car had vacuum on the runs. What was the MAP reading durring those runs? Where should it be?

The map was fine, the vacum reading just said it needed more air than it was getting. Basiclly I am far from maxing out air that the heads and cam can take on. I don't have the spec's on what the map was reading handy, I'll have to catch up with my tuner to see if he has it.

MAP is the sensor for vacuum. I am currious what the readings were that made the tuner believe you were not getting enough air.

Basiclly he said that I probably will not max out the air intake with out going force induction. I'm eventually going to go with a FAST 92/92

With that trap speed plus spinning as much as i did, once i get traction i'm hopeing for low low 11's high 10's........... The power and speed is defiently there just have to get it all to the ground and quit wasteing it on rubber...lol
if you would have seen the passes you'd laugh your @ss off....... Just imagine being almost sideways the whole 100ft and then kicking sideways again in 2nd and 3rd gear

i dont think Geoff at EPS would have told you it would make 500. He told me he has never had a 500 hp stock bottom end car come through his shop. Other peoples near 500 hp cars made 469 or so on his dyno now and at Thunder.

For one he never said it would do 500.... no one said it would do 500 but it is only a goal we are shooting for. realisticlly i'll get 470ish and I'll be happy with that. ever motor does something different so no one knows what they can get till its all said and done

I ran my car on street tires with very low air pressure, i tried every thing in the book and could not hook up. I expected that for the most part. I just figured i'd throw that info out there so a few of yall could get a good laugh............. You have to love the traction issues .....lmfao.
In the next week or so i plan on runing with sticky's so i should put up something good. I'll keep everyone informed!!
lol i did a 13.1 when my car was bone stock (139000 mile motor) with an auto. what tires do you have 245's ?
