Going to have to do it another night. I am exhausted. Been pushing myself very hard at work and at the gym. Call me a pu$$y if you want but I am exhausted. I'm sure Fadi can get me hooked up with that ZR1 at a later date. Good night...............

Thanks brother !!! Youtube has a few vids that will come up. The Vengeance stuff now that my car is perfect (light years better then it ever has been) courtesy of Vengeance Racing is actually in this thread in the first post at the end. Ron added them in for those interested.

Doug Congrats on the build sounds like Mike got the tuning worked out. If you leave him alone and give him the time he needs he can tune ANYTHING. I saw him in Hawaii tuning some cars and he really knows his stuff.
Looks like you have a Monster on your hands.
I am looking to get some Trickflow Heads myself real soon.

You are right about Mike and his tuning. We went for a ride, and he's making adjustments on the fly and damn if the car didn't feel 100% better coming back then it did going out. Furthermore I'd have been satisfied going home with the car the way it was, but Mike is a true perfectionist. He wanted to make sure everything was correct. Doube and triple checked.

Doug,
I saw this posted on corvetteforum and the results are unreal!!
Mike is the man when it comes to all out LSx/etc performance.
I've always had respect for him long before we met at GMMG.
Charlie is one kool cat too, we've known each other long before Vengeance. Mike did a great job putting together a knock-out shop, and I'm glad you found them.
I'm flat out shocked you've gotten that kind of power from a 402. Doing the math on the brake horse power figures, seems that you're the proud owner of a "Chariot of the Gods."

Thank you very much. I still wonder what the little 402 that could would have made with more compression ? I originally wanted an 11.8 to 1 build but due to -12cc pistons being selected for me at the original shop 11.8 to 1 was unattainable unless I wanted to ruin my heads by excessively milling them for compression. The would've been self defeating becaue it would have eliminated a lot of the flow the heads offer.
With all that being said I am still happier then a pig in ****. Mike did a PERFECT tune for me. Can't repeat that enough !!!!
Does anyone remember that I picked up nearly 2 mpg on the ride home? And thats with making more POWER !!!!

Took a friend out last night for a ride, and to say the least she was quite impressed !! Top 5th gear is all I am going to say. Even in bad air the car pulled like a SOB !!
Going to have a unique post coming from an LS1tech member that rode with me pre VENGEANCE, and is chomping at the bit to go for another ride. To provide a little background Brian has 30++ years in automotive repair/diagnosis and performance. He has driven everything. After our first ride his comments were the things got power but its got a few issues with the tune as well, apparently it was obvious to him. I believe Brian did all the data logging and tuning on his Z28. At any rate I don't want to take away from the thread Brian is going to do. Should have him title it Allngn_c5's 402 pre and post Vengeance, an opinion by an unbiased tech member. I say that because Brian does all his own stuff and would simply be giving his opinion on my car Pre/Post Vengeance based on his experience in the industry....Stay tuned.

So we removed the G6X3 and installed a custom cam. We opted for slightly more duration/less lift/wider LSA... The camshaft selected was 239/243 .623 /.623 113+3... Compared to the LG camshaft we added 4* of duration to the intake/1* to the exhaust.. Took almost .30 lift off of the intake and widened the LSA by 2*...
btw - great thread. lots of useful info.

Absolutely the WRONG cam for L92 heads. Try something in the 232/236 range. JMO.
Thanks for the compliment, I am sure Ron@Vengeance appreciates the feed back too.
