Default Performance Induction 215LXR Dyno results!!

At the time when we dynoed this car we were very impressed with the results. But then the more we mulled it over and looked at the curve and how the car drove and performed, the more impressive it was. The drive ability could not have been better, no bucking or surging and in 6th gear it was at 1100 rpm. This is the BEST cylinder head we have seen on an LS1.
The torque is outstanding, its performing like an LS2, but yet made more peak HP than an LS2 vette with TFS heads and a slightly smaller cam. If this were an LS2, the combo most certainly would have made over 500RWHP, truly exceptional. I had to find out who did the heads and they were Performance Induction assembled by Ed Curtis of Flowtech Induction.

We have tuned many new cylinder heads when they came out from the AFRs to the ETPs and then the TFS, all great performers especially the ETPs 1st - and then the TFS 2nd. These heads have an edge on them. After asking the customer a bunch of questions, he told me these heads are using the LS3 style offset rocker for the intake and are on an 11 degree valve angle. And The guys name was Cary from Performance Induction, the same Cary that used to work for ETP. They are a completely redesigned head from the ETP and what We believe to be the best cylinder head we have seen for an LS1/LS2.
Looking forward to testing some LS7s shortly!!

04 GTO M6 STK bottom end - Flow Tech induction street sweeper cam base line, then 1.875 headers, Fasterproms ported FAST 95mm, PERFORMANCE INDUCTION 215 CNC ported LXR cylinder heads.

Great numbers but, I'm a little confused (easy to do). One sentance you say:

Then the next you say:

So I'm assuming these heads were done by Carry and he is now employed by Ed?

Frow what I gather Cary use to work at ETP previously and now has ventured out on his own under his company Performance Induction. Ed Curtis simply assembled the valvetrain and provided the cam. I hope I got that right

What was the compression ratio? What are the cam specs? What do you think those # would be through a 4l60 with a tight and locked verter? Why the wavy dip in the 6400-6600 hp, any idea? The TQ looks great for a 346 by the way!!

PI heads are da bomb. We're the leading seller in the country right now. We have lot's of dyno data, but for the sake of not hijacking a thread, I'll leave it at that.

Cary, Ed and Jeremy did it some years ago already with the ETP 215 and the original StreetSweeper from FTI...plus all the possible bolt on...

The result was amazing

That was my LS6 engine stock cube...

Yes CC size on the heads would be some good info. And just like Vindicated346 I have been looking into the P.I heads and what they will do on my setup. I am just Looking to take my Car deep into the 10's With Heads (Milled) my Vindicator cam and All my bolt on's. I am sure The P.I heads Can get me there.

stock 10 bolt too?

just trying to compare to my TFS setup put down 485rwhp though an a4 locked with 12 bolt and 4.10s but my heads are milled pretty good to 57.5cc...

so if this car had a built rear, bigger cc heads and or not all bolt ons these heads are superior for sure...

so why the crickets lol???

Very interested. Please start a thread of different combo's you've done. I'd like to see examples of different cam's with these heads for a 346 ls1.

I've got a Fast 90/90 combo with a set of hand ported heads and TR224 cam from back in 2003 and am looking at freshening my setup.

I know miami993c297's 511WHP came from the streetsweeper LSX (236*-240*) just wondering if this new dyno sheet was with the slightly smaller streetsweeper-HT (228*-232*)
