Smile FMS 418ci - 612rwhp STOCK INTAKE - GTS-SS Alive again

I am posting this for old Gordon(GTS-SS),some of you may remember him, since his internet is not working.

Did some more dyno testing on his car now that the new Accel GEN 7+ DFI is in. Dynoed 575 rwhp on the stock '98 PCM, but never could get a handle on the A\F after 5400 RPM. Here is a run down of his new engine setup:

418 ci.(4.080" bore)
-FMS resleeved alum block w\Darton custom dry sleeves
-Moldex 4.00" crank
-Diamond custom lightweight coated pistons 14.2 CR, thanks Chris
-Oliver 6.125" billet rods
-FMS race ported LS6 heads(2.055"\1.60" valves)
-FMS custom solid roller cam (specs would scare most)
-FMS custom 2"-2 1\8" stepped headers w\3.5" Flowmaster collectors (open)
- LS6 INTAKE!
-PORTED STOCK T\B
-VP 103 super unleaded and TR6 plugs
-43lb injectors

-Stock M6 w\RAM clutch and STEEL flywheel
-12 bolt w\4.30 gears
-Strange 22lb steel driveshaft
-Forgeline wheels w\275-40 DR's

GRAPH NOTE: the max torque value is wrong due to the RPM pickup losing a signal so I put a cursor over actual peak torque (535.9).

The Accel setup took a little while to get dialed in but finally got it where I could dyno and map out the WOT A\F, still have some more tweaking to do. I was really shocked with the gain of the Accel setup with just a few tweaks. Once I get some bigger injectors I will swap to my sheetmetal intake off my car to see what it will gain. The 43lb injectors were at 91% duty cycle.

Gordon has one hell of a ride awaiting him

AWESOME Allan!! Slap that intake on, and get those injectors in! You planning on a TB upgrade as well...I bet you'll benefit from it as well.

I agree Gordon has got a wild *** ride ahead of him!

Gordon..let us know when you go to NPR...this time I'll do the filming!!

Could it still be considered a "daily driver" though?

The cam has to be big with peak torque in the 5400 range. Wow.
