My goal for this build is to go 9.90's on spray in a full weight car that has stock-like drivablity and kept all the creature comforts. Even though I went 10.57@ 127 with my previous combo, I knew I really had to step it up to get to that number. After reading the "Baby EPS Cam" thread and seeing the results, and how similar our cars were, it gave me some ideas on what I wanted to do. So, I contacted Dan, Patrick G and Tony Mamo and set the wheels in motion. After getting the results, I feel like I made the right decision. ![Chug! Chug! Chug!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_chug.gif)
Thursday I got the car over to Dan @ Masport Speed Shop for tuning and some results. I am happy to report that when Dan finished the results were 409hp & 400tq unlocked. My previous best on the same dyno was 334hp @ 5800rpm unlocked!!
Previous Combo:

243 heads off a GTO milled .020 (no porting)
LS6 Intake
LS6 Cam & Springs
Mac Headers
Magnaflow cat-back
Stock Balancer
No Cutout
Strange 12 bolt
Ported stock TB
Masport Tune
SS3600
FLT Level 5 4l60E
Changes include:
FAST 90 ported by Tony Mamo
EPS Cam .222/.230 .598/.600 115+2 (spec'd by Patrick G)

(Graph coming soon, it got lost in the shuffle on the way home)
Here's a video of the run:

We didn't dyno it on nitrous because we felt it would be better if we used some better gas, but those results will be coming soon. I am going to try and get some track results on hp this Wednesday to back up these figures.
So far the car feels exactly the same in normal driving, but mash the throttle and you can definitely notice the gain in power. I couldn't be happier![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
Big Thanks to thank Dan @ Masport, Patrick G, Tony Mamo, for the great work and advice and also everyone else that had a hand in this build!

Have only made 3 hp runs thus far as my goal was to go 9.90 on spray.
Best so far was 11.71@ 115.21 1.64 60ft, DA was 927, but we also had a 20+ mph headwind. I also had it banging the limiter on 1-2 shift. The car is definitely under-geared now for hp as it crosses the finish line at 58-5900 on hp.
Best on spray so far is 10.66 @ 127.96 1.48 60ft 979 DA. (125hp) this is about what it ran with the ls6 cam, ls6 intake and the macs on 175. I was pulling quite a bit of timing (and the ks were adding some so there were points I was seeing only 18* total) and was still hitting the limiter. I figured out what I was doing wrong and got the limiter situation resolved, but ran out of time to get another pass in.
I am still sorting out the little things but I feel that on this shot I can get it to go 10.50s 128.?? Hopefully get to the track again this week. So far I'm pretty happy as I have gained mph with 50hp less jet, and still running through the exhaust and no UD pulley. Car weighed 3540 lbs at raceweight.

what fuel system are you running?you want 1000+ bottle press.you would like 6.5 fuel press for the fuel solenoid.take out 3* for every 100hp of nos .how much colder of plugs are you using?short shift and don't purge the nos in the burn out or staging, you will hit softer and not spin too much in 1.

First off I'm not trying to bash Geoff, I plan to do business with him as soon as my funds are right. Just wondering though, With the FAST intake, is this cam really that impressive. I drive an M6, so maybe the numbers will be higher for me. I'm wondering because my cheatr cam/ls6 intake, ported 243's make 404/386. I wanted to do a similar cam to yours, but won't bother with a cam swap to only see a 10rwhp gain. Do you think it's worth it.

[QUOTE=garygnu;14171348]Geoff worked at thunder racing and engineered their cams ,he has refined his work for better results.the better your top end the better the EPS gains.[/QUOTE/]
Yea I know the history, just wondering.... I've heard a lot of good thing and I'm trusting my car with him because he spent 20 minutes on the phone giving me advice without me spending a dime. Here's the deal. When I see this car with 409 rwhp. I'm just wondering what makes the EPS better than something proven like a G5X3 or MS3. I know that the lobes should be better on the springs.however, my cheatr with .600 lift has 30000 miles on patriot duals.
