so ws6turk im in pretty much the same cituation as you cam only stock heads put down 400.12 and 388 rwtq. it's a good combo idles good and pulls hard but i want more!
so was thinkin about the ls6 heads ported to flow over 330 and a fast 102 w 42lber's.
just wondering what that combo would put down and what would be the most that you could mill the heads to run a flat-top piston?

Well I would contact phil at Advanced Induction and have them work over your LS6 heads. Their newly revised version will be available at the end of this month. Results should be in the 45-50+ rwh area with them. As far as the Fast goes, I would buy a used 90 or 92 and have it ported over going with a 102. The 102 IMO is too much intake for stock cubes and the gains per $$ versus a ported 90/92 would be minimal. Dont get me wrong the 102 is a nice piece, but for the dollar amount you can pick up a used 90 for a lot less and pick up good power.

I was thinking the 102 might be a little big. Who ports fast 90's and whats that usually run?
Also 2nd alternative is putting on the garrett gt3782 i have.
Still knida tossed up on the idea-can't really find a kit i like to keep a/c and i like the idea of n/a but if i stay n/a i wanna get as close to 500 as possible. By the way its a square decked 00 block .30 over with mahle coated pistons double roller chain and mehling pump stock crank polished
dont know how far i could push the crank with boost? Dont wanna replace it yet. 317's would go on for boost

Vengeance Racing, Advanced Induction and Cory at LS2 Portworks. You could have any of them port the intake. As far as boost goes, I have no idea. Never played around with it.

How's the build coming along? You should see somewhere in the 20+ range with the ported fast set up. What are your plans for the ls6 intake?

Coming along ok. I'm hoping for a solid 20 I'm going to sell the LS6/PP TB once the Fast goes on.

Damn nice numbers. I'm Itching to order my cam from Geoff. Yours looks like a step up from my 222/226, except im using L92 heads/LS3 intake.

Thanks man. Swapping the LS6 out for a Fast combo here soon. You will see good gains with that 222/226. A local guy just picked up almost 50rwh with that cam. What LSA are you going with?

Pat spec'd me a 112LSA. I'm wondering if I should go bigger with the cam though, o be honest with you. I may end up kicking myself if I don't. I'm honestly expecting more than 50rwhp out of this cam with the 6.0L and the heads.

The cam alone will be worth 45-50. I would personally step up to the 226/230 or a 230/234. I kinda wish I had gone with a 230/234. Either way it has a buttload of more power.

Yea, I'm gonna talk to Pat about any PTV Clearance issues with that cam. That's one of my biggest concerns right now. The only thing we discussed before was PTV if I milled the heads. I'll definitely be going with some aftermarket L92s with a smaller chamber when I build my stroker next year.

02WS6TURK - Are you going to get bigger injectors when you install the heads & intake? Just curious what you have planned since my build is similar.

automatics definitly put out crazy numbers alot it depends alot on whether the converter is locked or not and if its a really tight converter also .

I sure am. As to what size and brand, I haven't decided that yet. I'm actually getting ready to install the unported Fast, NW 90mm TB, 98mm lid and 85mm MAF to see what kind of numbers I can pull out. The heads and ported intake will be coming sometime after that.

Turk I would step up to a LS3/7 style MAF, its not much more money. I think the 85mm will eat some power.

I like having the MAF the same size or bigger than the TB.

Pat just spec'd me the 226/230 .598 .600 113+2

I'm excited to see what it'll make with my stock 243's, LS6 intake, 1 3/4" LT's, no cats and a tune.

Is 410/395 a reality?

With the 243 heads I would sure think so. You will enjoy that cam. It pulls great

less is more with the L92 heads,i wouldn't worry about it.unless your chasing a dyno number and don't care about the low end.
