Default Very low whp

Hey everyone. Ive just bought my first camaro, its a 2002 z28 a4 with 126 000mi. The car seems to run fine and the motor sounds healthy but when i put it on the dyno last week it only made 226whp and 244wtq? Its 100% stock and the runs were made with the maf unpluged, could this cause the numbers to be that low?

Uhh yeah, if theres a problem with the MAF then replace it. Don't just unplug it.

Soo.. do you actually have a SD tune, or did you just unplug the maf and put it on the dyno?

you said the car is stock correct? The factory sd tune should be close, I cant see it being off 50-70 rwhp... I would deff replace the maf and that should net you better results as the factory sd tune is verry conservatively tuned.

Think i may of found the problem. I just decided to put a fuel pressure gauge on the car to see what the fuel pressure was doing and its sitting around 30psi and drops down around 25-20 when i rev it up. Ive read that the pressure should be up around 58psi and should drop when reved up?

So i did a walbro 255 swap in the car last night and that really woke it up so it must of been right lean. Still dont have a working maf for it yet but ill try and toss it on the dyno today before the end of the day and see what it makes this time. Ill hook a whideband up to it this time and see what the air/fuel ratio is like. What should a stock ls1 run for afr mid 13's?

12.5-12.8. Mid 13's is a little lean.
