Finally got the cam install finished up on the car this morning, started it up, checked for leaks and took off to Trussville for the Bham Fbody dyno day. I added a TB ported by cammin BeaSSt, FMS cam, and an electric WP from where I was at before. The pulls were made with the stock LS6 intake, Stock Flywheel, Stock Drive shaft, Stock 2002 injectors, Stock MAF, 4.10 gears, 17x11 rear wheels and with the dyno's shop doors closed (noise complaints) so I could suck in my own exhaust gasses. The peak numbers were 474.3rwhp and 421.4rwtq, HP peaked at 6,300rpm. I'm still running my old "el cheapo" Patriot LS6 styles that I've had for 8,500 miles now and the mail order tune I had for my TSP231/237 cam. I'm trying to get my scanner to work and it's not cooperating, so give me a few mins to post the graph.
Overall I'm really happy with it.. since it is a "do it yourself" project that was completed in my own garage.

Great #`s
Can ya share the cam specs? I would figure the stock injectors wouldhave been pretty well maxed out when you were at 45X hp. I guess there wasstill more left in them

I'll say that the duration is slightly smaller at .050 than the 231/237 that I had in there. It was running 12.9:1 until about 6,000rpm and then it got leaner, up to about 13.8:1 at 6,500 and that is where we stopped the pulls. I'm pretty sure the stock injectors are maxing out above 6,000 rpms. It is making right at 460rwhp at 6,000rpms.. so I think they the stockers are good up to that point, after that. . it gets lean quick. I didn't pull it above 6,500 due to that fact.

Great numbers gomer. Now take it to the track and break that 10 bolt. My car should be done in two weeks so Ill have my numbers up with my Patriot LS6 heads on G5X3. My tune is gonna be alittle fatter though since the car is gonna be setup for my DP nitrous setup.

Man your going after my record on the dyno there
Wasn't those numbers with the belt off of the car? I just want to make sure we are comparing apples to apples on the before & after graphs.
We recently added a electric water pump & only picked up 4rwhp.
I have a new big blade throttle body in the works that when combined with a LSX intake could bring those no belt numbers up atleast another 15!!!!
Congrats man keep pushing towards 500!!!

Gomer, Have you ever ran the car at the track? You have always put good #s on the rollers but Ive yet to hear any E.T.s. Im not trying to start anything, just wondering why you do all this dynoing.
