Ok thanks, I'm going to check mine once i get to 15k. Hopefully thy are still in spec. There have been a few cases of them breaking really soon at around 10k. Its strange since they advertise them to have a life of 2.5 times as much as the average. I had patriot golds on a XE-R lobed cam for 20K with no probs before i sold the motor. But i highly doubt they will go 40k with my current cam even if my lobes are milder LSL intake and XE exhaust

I would like to get mine checked just to see where they are even though I have already changed them out. I'm sure they have adequate pressure to control the valve but I figured since I was changing push rods and already in there I might as well change the springs. I definitely wouldn't let a set of springs go 40k miles on an aftermarket cam either. But who knows they might last that long, I just don't want to be the one to see if they will lol.

I have an RPM built 30 spline T56 and I have absolutely no complaints about it, other than the gearing. But a 100-150 shot should help that long fourth gear go by a little quicker. When ever I change the trans it will be a C6 Z06 ratio tr6060. Either a stock one or built by RPM.

Went with the btr .660 lift springs and from 5/16 comp push rods to the 11/32 mantons. I'm hoping it will haul the mail quite nicely.

Nice I'm thinking of the btr springs also, but the other stuff that's in the spring kits are bigger on these heads than the stock castings so i might have to just get the springs from btr and the other stuff from prc. I'll have to talk to both companies and figure it out. I don't know of anyone who has had a failure with the btr springs yet.

could I see similar power with same heads and intake with a Texas speed 224/228 cam?
