The SOTP mater definatley felt the increase on each step and the dyno proved it.
I know the other car that he is speaking of that ran the 12.3 with same mods and that is a fact. I was goign to take the car to the track last night but we were rained out. I will attempt to take it next Tuesday and get some #'s to back it up.
A word about the Horsepower factory. I have nothing but good to say about those guys. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty. When they quote a price, they stick to it even if there are problems that take more time.
They are top notch in my book!!!
If you are within a few hours of SPringfield IL, I HIGHLY reccomend checking them out. You wont be dissapointed!!!

-You would have to put down 412rwhp on a dynojet to achieve 351rwhp on a Mustang dyno.
-This is on a 98?? They always dyno lower than 99 and up.
-Automatic?
Someone stuck an LS6 motor in there with big duration, lift and a 115lsa cam when you weren't looking.
Anyways, there is no reason to call BS, its good info...
What numbers do you dispute? The 299 stock number or the gains he has seen from the modifications? We have had LS1's dyno anywhere from a low of 273 to a high of 304 in stock form. All of the gains in this post are pretty typical of these modifications in my experience, which is why I started this thread.
If you dont like the numbers or dont believe them so be it, Im not going to be able to change your mind. The point of the post was to provide some real world information on the difference that this car saw from the listed modifications. Hopefully someone will benefit from it when choosing the mods to do to their car.

The stock numbers on the dynojet are disputed, as are the final numbers. The gains are fine, but the numbers themselves are horribly high. If we stuck an M6 on that car and put it on a dynojet, you would have put down about 330 RWPH. That is not going to happen on a stock 98.

I was driving thru town on a dry but cold smooth road in 2nd gear (holding the shifter in 2nd) at 37 mpg, I rolled into 3/4 throttle and the car immediatley went sideways. Granted, I have 235/55/16 tires that are damn near bald, but it does feel real strong.
I was rained out last Tuesday but plan on hitting the 1/4 this next tuesday the 19th.
My goals are
1.75 60
12.5 or better
108 or better
We will see how it goes!!!
My last LS1 was a 98 formula with;
Mac long tubes
mac off road Y
hooker catback
3200 yank
lid / K&N
the car went
1.8
12.7
105
That car had 100K on it, and didnt feel nearly as strong as this one does. Who knows, but I will come tuesday. I will post in here.
Again, props to Horsepower factory as they have not only met, but EXCEEDED my expectations for price, and quality of workmanship.

Davered00SS, you arent comparing evenly. First off you have an M6 (as glove pointed out) secondly, you are talking about with a lid and a catback and thirdly you are talking about a dynojet.
This car was a stock 98, is an auto and put down 299rwhp on a mustang dyno ...NO WAY.
Whens the last time anyone seen a bone stock LS1 M6 put down 350rwhp on a dynojet? B/c thats about the equivalent of what they are saying with their STOCK numbers.
other than that, the gains look normal.

I wish I had the opportunity to dyno my car after every mod so I could track its progress.
