Wow! That's nice. What heads, cam, CR, octane and other good stuff is in the 383? I'm sure it's a forged bottom end.

nice, those numbers seem a little low for a 383, unless your cam is tiny or you have restrictive heads. either way, awesome.

id think w/ decent heads/cam, usual bolt-ons, and a good tune around 460-470rwhp depending on 6sp or auto

I've been told (LG Motorsports) that a fully built 383 can go to the 480/480 range N/A. Mine has been estimated by the builder at about 440 with the mild (224/228) cam. Let us know.

Old 1998 mms stage 2 67cc. The motor has eagle rods eagle crank and ross -9 pistons. The cr is about 9.8. The cam is 232 239 600? 109lsa. I have pacesetter headers and lanes true duals and a asp underdrive pulley. The runs were on 93 octane. But i think the heads are junk because it was hitting a brick wall at 6200 on the dyno.

Congrats!

Any upgrades to the drivetrain (clutch/stall, driveshaft, rear end, etc...)?

What tranny?

Mine will be tuned soon. I hope I pull 460+ and little more on a 200-250 shot.

still some good numbers esp. that torque!
Id reccommend a 12-bolt soon w/ ur new found power though!
and maybe beef up the tranny, just IMHO though
You gonna stick w/ those heads or get new ones?
Good luck w/ it and have lots of fun

these are the type of numbers you get with a combo done with parts just thrown together.

9.8 SCR coupled with a cam thats got 17.5* overlap

1) valves sizes, port volumes, and head flow of said heads
2) valve springs used
3) head gasket and deck height
4) fuel system
5) ICL cam was installed on.

When i bought the heads used i was told they were milled to 59cc. But 4 months later i found out they were stock 67cc (lied too) The head have 2.02 1.56 valves The motor was in the car by then so that is why the cr is only 9.8. I am using the stock .052 gm head gaskets.
The valve springs are the patriot gold springs. I am using the luca 42lbs (for the dry shot) 340 fuel pump. The cam was installed dot to dot
What cam do you recommend (jrp) with my 9.8 cr?

I was gonna ask why you would have such a low CR. Might as well FI it!
