Default Guess My Horsepower....

Im getting my EDC cam put in on Monday and custom dyno tuned on Tuesday. Can you guess my RWHP & RWTQ??

2004 GTO A4

Kooks 1.75" LT's w/Cats
K&N AirCharger
Borla Cat-Back Exhaust
SLP P/P Throttle Body
EDC Cam 220/224 .596/.589 @113 LSA
Patriot Gold Dual Springs

Before posting a "What will this make" thread, take a few minutes and look through a couple pages of threads, and do a little searching too. Then, if you don't find what you are looking for, post your question/combo or future combo in this thread. For example a LT+TR224, a F13, a TRex, Magic Stick, G5X2,3 and so on has been done a million times already, and there are plenty out results that have been posted here, chances are you'll find something very similar to yours. There are tons of numbers for any setup, for a cam only setup, we even have THIS stickied thread dealing with those type of cars. Check 'em out, check out the main Power @ The Wheels thread too.

I plan on digging through some posts and dropping them in here, in due time.

Default What would my dyno #s be...

I have a 99 camaro z28 with long tube headers,exhaust,stall,shift kit and tune and it put out somewhere around 350 i believe...well im gonna add AFR heads,cam,pistons & rods,msd ignition,slp intake,LS6 intake manifold,underdrive pulley and a 200 wet shot, and im also gonna build the stock 10 bolt rear end...i was just wondering what you guys think i will put down for dyno numbers cause im kinda curious...thanks

Default What kind of power????

Should I expect to make to the tire with the F-13, Patriot Ls6 style heads and the 90/90 combo on a M6. Just curious as what people think this combo is good for..

I have a 98 z-28 m/6 I am going to be running Patriot perfprmance LS6 stage 2 heads, 2.02/1.57 valves, 59cc, vic jr. lt headers with 1-7/8 step, f.a.s.t 90/90, Granatelli m.a.f., 160 thermo, I was wondering ballpark figures on this combo

What cam are you running? With those heads a cam would make a huge difference

Unhappy need help!! and suggestions

i have a 1998 z28,62,000 miles on it, very well taken care of, jus got oil changed, MODS ARE: aftermarket intake lid and some very loud exhuast system. i would like to know what my horsepower and torque reading would be. u guys would really help even if u guessed

what does your ewxhaust consist of?? is it just a catback or is it headers?? i'd say if oyu have headers you probly have about 320rwhp and if its a catback then 300rwhp

Well all LS1's make about 345bhp at the engine. A lid and exhaust has maybe freed up a little.

the autobox will sap quite a bit of power, so automatics generally dyno less power at the rear wheels, but don't worry about it as auto's have other benefits.

On a load bearing dyno (such as a Mustang Dyno) you will probably see 280-290rwhp. A Dynojet is a non-load bearing dyno and will return a higher number ~300rwhp+.

Just remember a higher number on a Dynojet doesn't mesan you car is more powerful, just that the reading has been derived differently.
