Smile SLP 402 with ATI ProCharger D-1SC at 16 psi of boost = 757 rwhp on Mustang Dyno!

I am truly amazed that we are seeing 16 psi with a 402 cid engine! We're not quite done tuning yet, but it looks like 16 psi is all we're going to make, as boost is leveling off. 757 rwhp is not shabby on a Mustang chassis dyno, this would be approx 800 rwhp on a Dynojet. I have to look this morning to see what heads are on this engine. We'll finish tuning this morning and I'll post the dyno results.

If all goes well we should have a dyno video up this weekend. Lemme tell you what, this thing pulls to redline insanely fast.

Thumbs up

Here is one of the runs we made, this car is consistantly putting out 750 to 757 rwhp, run after run, all on 93 octane unleaded! The torque is right up there close to the horsepower! Bob

Nice setup. So far we got 14lbs on a 427 and that seams about it on boost.Made a wimpy 730hp/700tq at 12 degree's of timing so far.

Let me know how long the clutch lasts. We've been killing those with any car over 700rwhp at the track

Thanks! I hope the clutch holds up, we've had good luck with the Spec Stage + clutches so far, but we haven't pushed them like we will be this one. I'll let you know how it works out, we might be at the track this coming Wednesday with the car. Bob

Definitely let me know

The clutches are very good but we just can't get them to hold 700+hp at the track.

I will tell ya that the dual disks we have are simply awesome.Feel just like the 3+ but take some serious abuse from high hp cars.

Bob:

Can you share the camshaft information on this car?
I telephoned you about a week ago about a D-1SC in a 2006 GTO with a SDPC 402. I currently make 433rwhp @5700 and 430rwtq @4500 with a 226/585/112 cam and untuned. I would like to know if you can do something similar with my combination?
In a few days I fly for sunny Iraq, but I can bring you my car when I return if you can do the same for me. I just want some good daily drive-ability.

It is part of the SLP top end package. Pn# 12411 is the SLP number. it looks to be an obsolete part number, as it didn't come up for me. Our blower cam would be a great substitute for it.
We can certainly do a similar version of it for you. Thanks for inquiring! Bob

That's a retarded amount of power. Makes me wish that I had gone low compression with my SLP 402 so that I had the FI option.
