85 degrees and it was the first time Ive driven a stick car down the track in 3 years. Maybe the car is a little lighter aroud 3450, but still 400 rwhp shoudl traps 120

A few years agowe had 3700 lb 385 hp cam only M6 trap 120. Ive got 25 on Brents setup and a hundred fifty lbs, with sloppy driving it went an easy 122

Your gonna need more than that to beat his car.

Most cobras w/ your mods trap 118-120, 120 if you can drive. powershift that bitch, keep it in boost. Fairless' car will trap 124 no prob.

you need a ported blower and long tubes if ya wann a trap 122-125.

Good luck, should be a close run

400rwhp & 120 traps sound right.....400rwhp & 124 traps...does not unless your driving a very light car in great weather.

Like I said weve had 3750 lb car/386 hp on Djet SAE/120 change traps before in good air, and 119 in 70 degree normal stuff

122 came easy driving it worse than my grandmother at 85+ degrees, 124 in good air is what I would expect from 410 or so - 440 in decent air I expect 126 at 3500 lbs for sure

I guess the pressure is defintly on to perform...

I don't think I will be powershifting, ever since I went the chrome-moly flywheel and spec 4 route, I have not been able to powershift what so ever. Sucks.

I'll give it a few trys though.

What type of hydrualics do you have?

And the pressure to perform isnt up to you. It's the car. You dont have to have a good driver or even good tires to make good trap speeds. Trap is what tells the power number, ET shows how well the car is set up to go 1/4 mile from a stop.

Interestingly smooth dyno graph. See it run at the track, I'll believe it, and back up the belief with my money for that cam in my otherwise stock 98 SS.

BTW... Stock valves? I know that cam isn't running on stock springs, how about lifters?

WTF did they start making those? Did I freakin' miss something. I hate when I never hear of something.
Found them on Ebay. Spec 4 pucks are only sitting on the flywheel surface about 80%. Rest hang off towards the center. Weird.

Heads were never off. They are the SPM heads from the factory. Lifters are stock. Spring and retainers are the patriot dual golds with Titanium retainers I belive. Cam in a kit from Vengeance.

SPM heads? Help me out here...never heard of those. How do these compare with stock?

I was under the impression that these numbers were with "stock" heads...either LS1 or LS6 maybe.

Im not sure what "spm" heads are, but he's refering to a special type of stock heads far as I can tell. I have no idea what he's talking about though.

Well, after a quick search, I found two different descriptions of them...so I'll let him clarify. Either description did say they were worth a "marginal" gain over the typical LS1 head.

Interesting...never heard of this before.

I guess SmokinStorm that made the fake 450rwhp unlocked and is now running 10.70s@126mph with the same camshaft in an A4 is lying also... Along with Brad02Z06 who made over 500rwhp with heads/FAST/Our Vindicator camshaft/ Or how bout Dre01Z06 that made 440rwhp with an LS6 intake/stock heads.... The list goes on and on... but so do the haters
I just thought it was hard to believe through a flowmaster catback since my friend gained 30rwhp with his cutout over his at the mid-upper 300rwhp level, but apparently its not the standard POS one. I know 440rwhp isn't a problem cam only, and I'm sure out of any shop out there you guys could pull it off just as easy as the next, and you guys obviously put out some sick combo's and I'm not doubting you guys one bit. Hopefully he backs up the dyno #'s with some badass track #'s.
