Default New Dyno Numbers at Futral with 408.

I brought my car to Futral Motorsports today to get it dyno-tuned. Between the first and last pull, it picked up around 35 rwhp and 45 rwtq through the 2.5" Magnaflow Exhaust! The tune was all screwed up (tuned for 30# injectors, 20* timing, and all kinds of stupid crap).

First pull was 493/458 and the last pull 4 hours later was 530/505.

Great Job, Allan.

Mike

Not built by Futral.

It was built by DTP, but retuned by Futral. If it was built by Futral, it would have put down better numbers than that and had different components.

Guys, this is really impressive considering...

2.5" muffler
Factory castings (243s)
and a baby cam

Keep us posted on track times Mike. Guess I won't be revving at that 'Vette if I see it around Covington/Mandeville!

I won't be bringing it to the track, since I'm not much of a drag-racer. I'm using the car for road-racing and putting around the street. It went 10.53@131 with a 4.10 gear and 28" Hoosiers (it now has the 3.42)

Mike, it was great hanging around with you while getting it tuned. I am very impressed with the numbers it laided down, and all the problems Allan fixed for you. Not it is time for us to go cruise some like in the old days. Do people still go to the New Orleans lake front.

I don't think anyone goes to the Lakefront anymore. The car's on garage-duty 6.5 out of 7 days of the week anyway.

Congrats on the new numbers. This is why i am thinking very hard of towing my car 500 miles to have my car re-tuned by Alan. Plus i would love to check out Futral's shop.
