Default AFR 205/G5X4, PRC 2.5/MS4, Absolute Speed 2.5/G5x3 #'s

First let me say the dyno was only loading 70% instead of 100% so it was giving out low *** numbers. My uncles vette made 383rwhp on GMR's dyno and on Hybrid's dyno he made 337rwhp with the only change being the tuner adjusted his current tune for no cats.

My buddys Z06 with the G5x3 and Absolute stage 2.5 LS6 heads, LS6 intake, LG Lt's, borla stingers made 424/390. After I saw that, I new this dyno was easy 25-30+ low.

My car made 444/401 through the hooker catback. Then I opened the cutout in the I pipe and made 457/415. I cant believe how much that hooker catback cost me!!

Then another buddy with a 2000 SS started out making 437 through TSP mail order tune and after Steve tuned the car it ended up making 455/?. His setup consist of PRC stage 2.5 heads milled to 59cc, magic stick 4, 90mm FAST, jethot headers, electric W/P, no power steering, TSP 3" duals dumped through a 12 bolt.

In a few weeks my buddy with the z06 is installing his 90mm setup and were driving up to Hudor Racing to see what the cars make on a dyno that loads properly.

Thanks. As soon as I got the car on the dyno my worst fear came true...the PCM was locked which Kirk from vector motorsports, who tuned the PCM before call me up 2 weeks before and assured me it was not locked ...talk about being pissed!!!! luckaly for me JJ automotive hooked me up with a stock PCM from a '00 SS and Steve tuned it 100% and I ended up with 444rwhp but the low and mid range was MUCH better. Also Kirk told me since I had the dyno tuned PCM and matching dyno tuned motor, installing a new style MAF would not effect the tune as long it was exactly the same. Wrong again Kirk

Kirk never returned my calls so I stayed away from his shop. Very glad I did. My buddy Whplash swears by him. I guess you got to know the guy or something.

John, thanks for including me in this. you guys have some nice cars. i'm glad you got the pcm issue taken care of. my torque was 406, and the car really pulls hard now. maybe we can all hook up at the track sometime.

Very nice numbers for everybody! I'm especially interested in the prc ls6 2.5 car because those are the heads I plan on using in my forged 347 build, please post track times when you have them!
