2001 Camaro SS M6 Factory stock
Ok, not exactly stock as it had an SLP Lid, filter and smooth Bellow.
This car belongs to a friend of mine, which he had me tune it. It is a GM SS, as in no SLP options, and (flywheel) rated at 325HP. We baselined the factory tune and it put down 325rwhp on a Dynapack dyno, can't quite recall the torque but I think it was around 330rwtq. The AFR was around 12.3 and timing was around 19-22 degrees. I worked my magic (load tuning) on it and dailed in the VE table and MAF table, then worked on the timing table. End results were 340 rwhp and 362 rwtq. I will see if I can get him to post the graphs. It had a flat 340 torque curve from ~3000 to ~5200! Pretty impressive for a stock (only lid, really) setup. I wanted to tune it prior to the lid, but oh well.

Thanks again for all the help George, and thanks to Mike at Haddad Motorsports. The car feels amazing. Its like a night and day difference just in the driveablitly. Granted the car was stock and completely drivable, but its a lot smoother now from a stop and pulls a hell of a lot harder...
And no George, I did not get sideways on the DR's... They still hook up VERY well.

I believe it! My brother has a 2001 SS. It made 331rwhp and 343rwtq with just a lid. However it was one of the few cars that received the LS6 block in that year! But it's just the block which shouldn't have any effect on horsepower #'s. Check to see if your buddy's car has the LS6 block also. I would really like to know.

What are the casting codes? and where do I find them? I dont mind checking it out.
The block really doesnt help with power production, but it does help with the oiling/oil control in the motor. Should help keep things together longer.
