Default Got my car dyno tuned yesterday!!!

Much thanks to Jeff at PSI and his g/f Ashley for helping set everything up. It was so nice of them to open up the shop on a Sunday morning for me. Man what a difference in the feel of the car!!!!!!!! He spent a lot of time tuning it for me, tuned out the 02’s, EGR, no cats and the fans to kick on at 160°. Then he went to work on getting the fuel ratio correct. After all his tuning I gained 15 hp and 23 trq. You can definitely feel the difference in the car…definetly feel the extra HP. There were some issues with the knock sensors which Jeff said was most likely from the lean fuel. I just am sorry I didn’t get this done sooner…my car has been struggling for 3 yr ….poor thing. Now its all healthy and ready for the cam install which hopefully will be in a couple weeks. (once we get the daily driver up and running)

Here’s the graph from yesterday...done on a Mustang dyno. Last time I dynoed 305 rwhp & 310 rwtq so a vast improvement.

Mods are:

SLP LT's
SLP Loud Mouth catback
LS6 intake
EGR!
160° stat
Hollowed Cats

Very cool of a shop to open on a Sunday to take care of a customer. Speaks loads of how important the customer is.

Out of curiousity, which run is the spiking one? The first one? Because for some reason in my car when I take off, it seems like its hitting freakin vtec at 3600-3700 rpm, it just smoothens out aroudn there. I don't really have much of a tune on my car yet. Could it be going lean?

Yeah Jeff is really nice! I'll be bringing him a cherry cheesecake for opening up his shop on Sunday .

The spikes at the very top are from when the wideband loses the signal. He said it happens on alot of cars. Which line are you referring to? Most likely your car needs tuned. Don't wait long like I did.. get it done ASAP!!

Yep he's a very cool guy and is g/f Ashley is very nice too. I wish my car was half as loud as hers! I probably would get 1 mile to the gallon tho! I know my numbers arent anything that's spectacular compared to others but I'm very happy that it is running like it should and he was able to pull that much more out of it with a tune.

You got the car tuned and now you're going to put in a cam. Isn't it supposed to work the other way around?
