Not usually most of the newer mustang software can vary much dyno to dyno unless its calibrated right. Ours had some 370 hp bolton stuff and 430 hp cam only 224 cams as delivered. Weve had cars come off same model as ours but dyno 75+ hp less on ours (this is after we got th calibrations right on ours obviously)

Just because it has a label on it doesnt mean itll follow the trends most dynoes do. Dynojets are the mst consistant dyno to dyno, (but useless to tune on) the more features and loading capabilities you have though, the more variance you will se dyno to dyno. Ive had customers come here and tell me their car made x40 on someones mustang dyno, x33 on a dynojet and makes x19 on ours for example.

Stick to a dyno with known repeatable results if you want the numbers to mean a lick. We have some NMRA guys dyno their stuff on ours and its repeatable to a number or two all year long, but we spent DAYS going thru their bulky code/calibration load scheme stuffs

Those are nice results for cam only. You should be proud!!

I'm going back to a cam only set up this season. And I just bought a used tqr v.3. Putting it in a used 60K mile short block with prc springs and cm pr's, ls6 int, ported tb, pace setters with a flow master cat back. We'll see what I end up with after Chad gets it tuned. It will be mid summer when I get it dyno'd.

My mustang drag car has a T-rex with ported 243's and a vic jr int and 750 demon carb. Can't wait to see what it does also.

234/236 .050 .544/.545 @112 LSA with rebuilt heads, comp hardened rods, Dbl roller timing chain, ported LS6 pump, crane lifters, spec 2 flywheel clutch pkg LS6 intake, stock TB and a full SLP LT exhaust loudmouth set up with NO CATS , in a stock 10 bolt with 373's and didnt break 375 rwhp ...so wtf?

but ahhhh yea damn good numbers i would be proud!!

There are so many differnt factors to consider. The dyno you were using, the weather at the time, etc.

What do you mean by useless to tune on? (Referring to Dynojet).

I'm conviced that the highest dynoing anything doesn't exist. It's more like a legend or myth. No one ever see's it and there's always something that out does it.

Congrats on the results! Enjoy your new toys!

I'm shooting for 430 cam only through a 4000 stall and a 12 bolt and slicks.(no intake, no pulleys...nothing, cam and headers)

On 98 heads.
