Default I just might have the most RWHP for a cam only (TSP Torquer V3) LS1...opinions?

So as some of you might have read in a prior post I was going to be doing a cam swap in my 98 M6 LS1. I just got the car back with astounding results..here is the rundown

TSP torquer V3 Cam (231/234 .643"/.598" 111 LSA)
PRC Valvetrain kit
LS2 timing chain
LS6 intake
Kooks longtubes,CATTED Y, SLP catback
UD pulley
Lid
DYNO tune
4.10 gears

That is all. The car has 82K on it with a LS7 clutch and LS2 flywheel. I had TTP in Toms river NJ Dyno the car. The following #'s are WC (weather corrected)

419 RWHP
372 RWTQ

I couldn't believe my eyes....Once I drove the car, it was all so clear how badass it is The tune came out phenomonal. No surging, nice idle...feels awesome. It pulls like a freight train from just over 3 grand all the way to 6500. To anyone looking for a CAM...This is a awesome one, sounds amazing too! Just get yourself a good tune.

I'd like to thank Tom from Anger Management Racing for his awesome work...anyone in NJ looking for a top notch mechanic..he is the man to go to!

15.9 afr max wow that seems pretty lean...also why so little torque i thought this cam was designed to give good torque...hince the name...

edit ok i see the 15.9 was just a blip at the end of the run...haha

nice hp though

also highest cam only i have seen was from demonicbird

245/250 .611/.615 110+1

full bolt ons minus a EWP

check cardomain page for exact mods in sig

456rwhp 408rwtq

-brandon

I am still happy with the Torque number....It makes it at a fairly low rpm for an ls1. Plus I think about 375 is right for the T3. I wasn't expecting over 400rwhp though, so it's all good

I wish everyone used the same kind of dyno to make the #'s more comparable.

Great numbers for sure, but I tuned a cam-only 35th anniversary SS with QTP headers, T-Rex cam, and FAST intake that made 451 rwhp and 398 rwtq. Pretty stout considering it was done with 4.10 gears in back. The T-Rex is amazing once tuned.

I knew I prob didn't have the most .....I just figured 419 is high for cam only with bolt-ons.

I was hoping for like 390...so when I saw 419...I got really excited. Is it ok to round up and tell people I have 420...hahah, sounds better

How much difference do the 4:10's make on the dyno?

I made 430/419 with my Torquer 2. Then made 423/419 through my 9in with no heads.

Something to consider, although you didn't mention it...that appears to be a MUSTANG Dyno sheet, which always seem to read a good bit lower than a DYNOJET.

Nice numbers regardless. A good tune is well worth the investment, and not just for peak numbers either.

Great numbers! I have a very similar cam, granted, I don't have the LS6 intake, 99 model car and mine put down 40 less to the tires. I made 371 rwtq though. I wouldn't call this cam a small cam compared to a Trex. It has 64x lift! Once I get some 28lb injectors and LS6, I'll get a redyno and head to the track where it really matters. Mine pulls like freak from 3000 up as well (F14 highlift).

How much weather correction... and is it the mustang dyno that if you put the wrong weight for the car in the numbers can be skewed?

With no heads?! Dude, how did your engine even run?!

I knew someone would chime in with some TRex numbers that would rule on 419 rwhp...
