I raced my buddy from a roll and I just have lid and full exhaust and his was a plain jane WRX STI and it was close, to close to call. We only ran once.

My friend has an STI. We've done some cruising together, and its really not even a race if we were to line them up. On one section of highway, he jumped on it and I waited until he was about a 1/8 mile ahead to hit it. We both hit 145MPH, but I hit it in about a 1/8 mile less distance, and I also let off a few times as well because I was nervous about going that fast lol.

As for a Stage 2, it doesn't do **** unless you have exhaust upgrades as well. I think it adds about 15WHP to the stock 230WHP with a stock exhaust, but if you have a turboback exhaust, it will get an STI up around 290WHP.

Still not anything to worry about if you're modded.

Yeah no sweat from a roll. Those STI have AWD and that means their power gets distributed to all wheels and less power on top speed. Off a dig i think it might be a closer match.

ive raced a couple nasty ones and won. mosty casue they cant shift. My buddies is an sti swap from a roll we are pretty close. From a stop with slicks i can kill it. I wouldnt worry to much at the track. Yea they can hook but they are hard to launch and up high they arent so great. If your in the mid the 12s your good. Those cars are easy to make fast but most ricer kids own them and do stupid stuff

if you are full bolt on, it'll be tough for it to keep up on a roll, from a dig, they have the traction advantage, but you will pull. Heads and cam you are in a different league.

I know a kill is a kill, but you are going after things that's like shooting fish in a barrel, aim higher, take the loss, get the car faster...

My friend had a 360whp fully built STI, and I beat him everytime from a roll...higher rolls he held in there longer, slower roll's I just yanked him right away...

he doesnt have the car anymore tho because we were racing one night a few weeks ago and his car caught on fire at 140mph, and burnt to the ground...No one was hurt, but it was a total loss...he only had liability insurance cause hes a moron...

My old LS1/T56 '88 Formula would DECIMATE my friends FULL BOLT ON STi from a roll time and time again. Best I ever saw outta the car with a stock LS1 was 13.1 @ 110, but his car literally had everything you could do on a stock turbo, and was still no match (a good 3-4 cars easy) every time.
