Then his friend must be able to drive. cause the fastest bolt 5.0 ive seen has a best of 9.6 in the 1/8...in this area at least

What makes you think i'll get killed? I mean if he puts down a lil over 300hp and only weighs 500 pds less or so..I think it would be a good race. My car puts down a lil more then 350,and it hooks up better. I dont think his weight advantage will be enough.

i say the TA just cuz 5.0s are ******* slow, even with those decent mods, your car will simply pull way harder up top.

Good thing you are not around here, then... 9.6 in the 1/8? holy crap that is slow.
my 1990 Saleen convertible with 355 gears, long tubes and a carb conversion (the entire long block was factory, even the cam) ran 8.9 in the 1/8 and 13.85@100 in the 1/4

A mustang with all those mods, if the dude can drive and is on slicks, will run 12.20 - 11.80 if he can drive. 363 to the wheels in a mustang = low 12's, high 11's with a good driver.

My last GT had a 302, twisted wedge heads, dual plane manifold and a 650 carb with a custom cam and it ran 11.90@117 on radials at 3150lbs. It ran a 7.70 to the 1/8

I don't think you will win, but you never know
