Depends on how well he can drive. If he is bone stock he will have to be the best driver in the world to take you unless you are at a dead spot in your powerband. Now if it was a 95 Mustang......hang it up, you have no chance!

They have 305hp 320tq. If he's stock you should beat him, but I think it'll still be pretty close if he can drive it.. You have 3.23's? or 2.73's?

If you have 2.73s and he can drive, he just might win. If you have 3.23s, you should pull it out.

Find your sweet spots if you're rolling and don't spin if you dig it. Know where your car shines and how to get if off the line. Do that and you should be able to pull a win.

I think I've read of them dipping into the 12s once in a blue moon, but they run about what an LS1 does.. 13.5 range on average.

I can't vote...cause I'm sure you'll win and I can't have people see me voting against one of my favorite cars of all time. LOL.

Seriously though.....with you having 3.73s, you'll win. But, what's this 'will soon have' and then you do? So, do you have the 3.73s? What's "FTRA"?

I fyou have 3.73s, I'm sure you'll edge him out more times then not.

You should win , If you were stock and he was stock it would be a drivers race unless you had the 2.73s Then he will smoke your butt. Run him video tape it and post it .

Fast Toy Ram Air, it forces air into the airbox from the front bottom of the car.

To the OP I think you should take him if he is bone stock and you are running 12.8 in the 1/4.

Thanks.

Yep, generally, it takes a few mods for a mach to pull off 12.8. I know of one mach owner that pulled a 12.9 with only a shifter. Sadly he is no longer with us, may he RIP.

So...IF (and I mean IF, you never know now-a-days) he is completely stock, then you should take him.

Varify that guy is stock. Either he's ignorant, just wants to have fun.....or his stock is "stock with XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"

Mach's are about dead even as far as stock for stock goes. But the dollar/rwhp for mods the LS1 wins.

Sounds like a drivers race.

Yep. But the OP has pulled off a high 12. If the mach is truly bone stock.....it'll be hard pressed to beat him.

Dollar/RWHP....ain't that the truth. Pushrods are def. cheaper than modulars to mod.
