I've taken one down with my setup, I'm not Cam-only, but it woke up the guy driving the Z06..lol, that was when I had an Auto, SS3600, and 3.73's.

Once I get everything back up and running with the T56 setup and 3.50 Gears in the back, I'm interested to see how my car will do on a roll race from 60mph up.

Unless your forced induction or nitrous, your ls1 won't last....

Yes you can if things line out right for you. I'd say you hav a 35% chance. Best bet is to find an area and go for it in the 1/8 mile from a dig, from a roll you are done. He should climb up your *** after that. Good luck and go race!

You wanna catch a LS7 Z06 the best and easiest way is forced induction. Save up get a nice turbo setup with supporting mods and you'll catch and pass a stock LS7 no problem. I love H/C setups but you can go so much farther with a FI setup.

what everyone failed to mention is the OP said "ON THE STREET"

well now that makes a big difference. a healthy cam only ls1 that can hook on the street is more then capable of taking down a c6 zo6 especially if hes having trouble hooking (he will)

I have stock Heads, so really it's just a Cam..
But I'm stroked, so there is little more with what I have compared to a LS1.

As far as a Cammed LS1, it'll be a drivers race and if the Vette hooks at the same time or before, the LS1 will be struggling..
Mine was on the street, I was spinning out of the hole just as bad as the Vette was, but I hooked and pulled away just by sheer power. Me and the Vette hooked at the same time pretty much. It will be some work for a Cam-only LS1. There isn't enough cubes there IMO..
