does anyone have a video of two bone stock camaros racing? one LT1 and the other LS1... trying to see something... i raced a guy a month or so ago in a bone stock cept lid LS1 Z and he stayed right next to me... I raced a bone stock LS1 formula and put two lengths on him. raced a bone stock LT1 and put 7 lengths on him. now then i am trying to figure out if the first Z had something he didnt tell me. all races where from a roll... but any video helps! thanks in advance!

Well you have a heads cam full bolt on LT1, you should be running faster than a 13.1. Thats a stock LS1 1/4 mile times, roughly. Try searching you tube or streetfire?

the 1st ls1 with a lid may have been tuned which might account for some of the difference..as for your 1/4 time you might need to raise your shift point and def. get that 60' down and you'll be well into the 12s

Not sure how much lower than 1.95s he's gonna get if he's running regular street tires... what's your trapspeed OP?

well of course not on street tires..but I'm sure he knows they make drag radials and slicks for a reason

sorry man, it takes a lot for an LT1 to match a mostly stock LS1 performance.

i trapped 107. and it mostly just no power on the big end... i shoot it out the hole but then he comes screaming by me at the 1/8 or so... i dunno.. he is having problems with his car right now. but, when he gets it running again i will video it and post it for a good analysis by you guys! haha and i am working on the traction thing as we speak!

W/ your setup you should be well in the 12's and pulling stock Ls1's pretty good. Though some stock 6spd LS1 cars trap more then 107 theres definately a problem there.

I had less mods with my Hotcam LT1 and it was running almost mid 12's at 110mph.

something aint right with your setup...h/c lt1 should have no problem with a mainly stock ls1. you should be alot faster

i'm putting down 330rwhp. its just a mild cam... plus the stock rear end. i've thought about the stall, but does it hurt your drivability? i dont have much experience with them. and the 13.1 was on street tires, so i know slicks would pick it up a little...
