Not going to hazard a guess bro. It seems to me that your original setup was a little on the low side. The cam is big enough to make good power in my opinion.

Best of luck and I hope you do hit your goal. The ported intake and cnc'd ls7 heads should help, just not sure if going bigger on the cam was necessary.

The cam was actually well thought out but we will see. Bigger in lift wasn't the goal but I def needed a much larger duration split., After some research the new line of comp LSL lobe rectangular specific stuff looked good. I also needed to make peak power close to 7100. I'm hoping for the best.

I'm surprised you think my #'s were low before? Especially comparing my setup to yours?
I have 25 ci on you but you have an UD pulley (IM STOCK), EWP (IM STOCK), Ported 92mm intake (UNPORTED 90), 95mmTB (90MM), AFR heads (LS6 HEADS) and we make the same power +/- 5hp. I always thought my car made great power for not having all the little extras.

The car ran 130.5 mph last time to the track so regardless of what the DYNO says it runs good.

I just thought that a 427 with h/c and especially a cam the size you were running would've already been at 530 or more. I guess that's why you are getting rid of those prc 2.5's for the cnc'd ls7's. Either way no reason to get upset, I didn't post my opinion to dog your car. You got a badass on your hands that is about to get even badder. Again good luck hitting your goals and look out 140 traps !!! Here you come

First pull tonight went very well. Made 570 but we had to stop. MAF was maxing out and KPA from MAP sensor was dropping to 95. She wants more air. Ordering a 100mm MAF monday and go from there. Dontbe afraid of the new comp cams for Rectangular port heads. Driveability is much better than with the old cam. Only changes to the tune were more timing and fuel. Started right up and idled perfect. Very happy so far.

Shawn,
Thanks and I will give you a call when we are all done. PS GREAT JOB ON THE INTAKE PORTING , And the cam I'm running is the one we discussed.

Found another problem....
I run twin QTP cutouts, car would gain 30+ rwhp open vs closed. I have a stock TI catback so the cutouts are a necessity. After playing around with the car a bit I realized the cutouts were 75% closed. Switch went bad and a connector under the car came loose from the exhaust being lowered for the head install. I replaced the switch , fixed the connector under the car and will try to get back on the dyno today. I have a business trip for the early part of next week but I'm sure by Friday we should be all done.

Sounds like 600 rwhp shouldn't be much of an issue with the cutouts open and a larger MAF. Glad to hear she's making good power. Its only going to get better with the larger MAF and properly functioning cutouts.

I'm not sure whats there from the cut outs. The TI isn't much of a restriction until 450 rwhp, The 25% opening may have been enough to allow the air for an extra ~125hp to flow without restriction so the extra opening may just add to the OMG RACECAR sound. Lets hope it wasn't enough and it adds much HP....

My guess, ONE MILLION HORSEPOWER!!! Glad to see you finally got rid of that 3/4 race cam and went with a FULL RACE cam. 86mm maf = 581rwhp, 100mm maf= 593rwhp

I was gonna spec a custom split pattern / flat tappet / hydraulic roller using the RV GRIND AND FULL RACE TOGETHER but my new double hump fuelie camel toe heads just wouldn't work right, so I went full race.
