A buddy of mine with a fully built 95 Mustang GT with a Kenne Bell supercharger can barely beat my Trans Am. Obviously there is something majorly wrong with the car. When you drop $10,000 on an engine/supercharger combo, you expect it would beat a light bolt-on lt1 pretty significantly.
04 GT won't even be a problem. I can spank the vast majority of 07 GT's with the new 4.6's. Only one I've lost to was manual and full bolt-on's. I will give the Mustangs credit for one thing though: They sound awesome! All show no go is no fun though

The '04 should make for a good race, I'll put it down to the drivers.
Back in high school I had a '95 Formula Auto w/ LT's, ORY, Catback, CAI and one of my best friends had a '01 GT Auto with Shorties, X-Pipe, Catback, Pulleys, CAI, TB, 3.73's, Tune and I would always beat him but not by much. If I had more bolt-ons like he had I would have wrecked house but we use to run within a .1 of eachother at the track but I would have him by a car to car and a half from a roll. Going to be a drivers race, those 2 valves aren't nearly as shitty as the '96-'98 ones. Now you do internal mods like heads/cams swap to the Stang and put it against a heads/cam LT1 and you will rape it like no other. My buddy now has a stroker motor with heads/cams in the same car and when I say I win by bus lengths I mean it.
