my intake, full exhaust, geared, tuned '96 Z28 couldn't hold off a lid, intake and tuned LS1 Z28 when i had the LT1. I did ok from a dig and held him off until about 40-50 and he walked by and kept going.

Assuming the LT1 car has a good driver, I'll give an edge to the LT mainly due to better gearing and slightly more mods. From a dig it'll be whoever gets off the line better. From a 1st gear roll, I see the LT1 coming out 1 car in front by 100mph.

If the 99 Z was a 6 speed, the LT1 would get smashed from a roll.

If the LT1 is clean, with those mods it should get that LS1.

From 0-80 LT1's always hold thier ground well.
Its what happens after that when it gets interesting.
