Default ls1 vs eaton mach

Eaton Mach:
275 b/f Goodrich d/r's
little weight reduction
3.1 pulley home port eaton 10lbs 9.6 compression
stock 3.55's
stock 5 speed
full bolt ons
stock suspension + drag springs
est 460 hp 440 torque honestly it should get more out of it after dyno im low balling probably get around 470-480

Ls1 camaro:
auto stock stall
lq9 heads possible ported and maybe a good lift cam
ls6 intake
maybe spray 75 dry shot
ful lbolt ons
315 nittio d/r's
not tuned unknown horse power
full suspension minus subframes and front end
with all of this maybe hes hitting 490 500 hp but no weight reduction

any opinions???

that mach is gonna walk from that camaro, sorry, for one thing the lq9 heads are gonna lower compression, and with the stock TC that auto wont be able to take advantage of the DR's.

IDK much about the lq9 heads and how much of a difference that makes, but I'd be shocked if that camaro has 490 even iwth the 75 shot. Clower to ~425 would be my guesstimate.

mach hands down IMO........the best bet for the fbod is to do a dig run and hope the mach spins on the launch. I doubt it with the BFG DR's though.

I say the mach will have you even with the shot but it will be close since the mach is untuned. You need a stall bad. If you had one I would say you would get him

And fwiw the mach is probably around ~420-430hp untuned and would tuned it would probably be around ~440-450ish since its only a 3.1 pulley and home port

317s flow a little less than 243s but it KILLS the compression, thats what you swap on for FI setups.

You want ported 5.3 heads with LS1 intake valves to up compression, or simply port a set or 241's and mill them down a bit, and use a thinner head gasket to raise comp.
I'd also try AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE to source a higher stall 2800-3400rpm and trans cooler. That alone could be good for 3.5 to 5 tenths in the 1/4.
Lastly toss in a set of TR6 plugs and up the shot to a 125 (dry) or 150 (wet) That should do the trick.

Head CC for reference:
5.3 = 59cc on stock LS1 with Stock head gasket = 11:1
LS6 = 64cc on stock LS1 with Stock head gasket = 10.33:1
LS1 = 67cc on stock LS1 with Stock head gasket = 10.1:1
LQ4/9 = 71cc on stock LS1 with Stock head gasket = 9.45:1
