Ehh... They have about 300hp and tq, but they're awd. I would say from a dig, he might get you a little. From a roll, it's a driver's race. Are you an auto or an m6?

If you were an A4, I'd say get a stall, and that'd be it. Since you have an M6, I recommend 4.10's, longtubes, ory, & catback. Then you should get him easily assuming he really is stock. You already have the LS6 intake and 243's, so if you get the other things, you would be set up right for a cam...

Well, you are probably making ~335 to the motor (assuming gm's 325hp rating is accurate) You have the EVO beat on power, but don't underestimate an AWD car. G8's are easy to beat because they weigh a **** ton. Not saying your car is slow by any means, but the AWD is a good thing to have when it comes to digs.

But from a roll, it doesn't help quite as much, so i think you may have him from a roll. 4.10's will help with your acceleration, the rest will just help with power. Since you DO have the LS6 intake and 243's that will make you gain more power over an 98-00 ls1 because you will breathe better.

In other words, if a 98-00 ls1 got longtubes, ory, and catback, they may gain around 20-30 hp, (just guessing) whereas you will gain more, because you have better supporting mods stock.

All LS1s make around ~350hp at the motor. If you can drive OP, you should be able to take him. Even from a dig.

If it is really stock you will win, both from a roll and dig.

My "Friend" with an m6 Camaro has raced one with just an exhaust and beat him pretty good from a roll and dig. From a dig you will play catchup but you should pass him in third gear.

if he is stock you can probably take him from a dig if you are careful, from a roll you will rape him

those cars saving grace in lower power form is their launch...buddy's 330 rwhp camaro with t56 4.10s put 2-3 cars on a modded (cams, exhaust, more boost and who knows what...it was god among the ricers here at the time) one from a 55 roll...dude started spraying it and could only stay even

Are you sure the EVO was modded like that? Back in '04 my friend's EVO w/ intake, smooth intercooler piping, full exhaust, and mild cams put down ~330whp on a conservative tune. With a larger turbo and the supporting mods, 400whp isn't hard with those cars. I don't see a 330whp pulling an EVO with a larger turbo that's setup worth a damn.

My friends told me it's stock. But the funny thing is that he keeps asking me. "Are you sure you want to run the evo?"... I keep saying yes and he said he will set me up then. He thinks it's world of fast. He thinks his 4 door integra with headers is fast too (stock engine, not even v-tack)

stock turbo at the time as far as I know, hard to know what was truth and what wasn't because the owner was cocky, his response to the race request was "you sure you wanna go that route?"

after he got his *** drug he tore it down for a large turbo build...35r I think? made a couple passes before the tranny went IIRC

the camaro is a 92 with a lt1 swap...weighs under 3200 with driver in street trim and the 330rwhp was on a stingy dyno prior to his addition of ram air and conversion to coil packs instead of optispark, those mods dropped his track times by a consistent ~.2

the evo was running a couple tenths quicker at the track due to 60ft but on the highway the camaro had the advantage and won every time they raced

Here's the update. So this guy was thinking he was racing my GTA, that's why he wanted to do it for cash. Now that he knows it's my WS6 he is thinking about it. Lol
