Little bro is signing papers on a '11 5.0 
2011 California Special 6 speed, 3.55 gears
Sad thing is I have to take a corvette dual exhaust home to a friend, not sure if it will fit in the Chevelle if I cut it off at the cats...if it will this **** will go down tonight or tomorrow.
If not I have to drive the truck home so it will be a couple weeks, maybe Christmas.
Both cars on street tires (
for me not having some fresh drag radials). Him bone stock to the filter. Mods in sig and I will weigh 3800# street trim and cutouts closed. Car runs high 7s@89-90 in 2600+ DA on drag radials.Dig, 30 roll, and maybe a 50 roll...
I think I have my work cut out from a dig due to traction, get him from a 30 by 3 cars if I hook, but think if we do a 50 he will hang and maybe pull a car. Predictions? I can get video

Hmm, guess we will see...my buddies bolt on trans am (estimate 350whp) used to pull on me...but that was pre-stall.
Haven't had any decent roll runs since then except a 60 roll on a modded 99 Cobra. Car hung in 3rd and he pulled a car and a half until I got up in the band and stopped his pull.

From what I have read in (flame suit on) mustang magazines, the new mustangs run high 12's and respond very well to mods. There is already one new 5.0 in the high 8's on drag radials with a f1r and built motor. They are getting into the 10's on a 75 shot, LT's, intake, tune, x-pipe no cats, and drag radials.

Do not make it slam into second at 50. Manually select 2nd beforehand. Hit it on go, then click to D right after the hit and let the tranny do the 2>3 shift automatically.

Post up the video when you get it. With him being new to the car you should be able to take him from the dig since he will likely spin as well since lacking seat time.

I just had a old time buddy of mine try me in his intake/full exhaust tuned '11 5.0. That was a bad decision on his part. 
Those cars do move out though for those little mods for sure.
