Default Can anyone guess my HP?

What should I expect for HP numbers? Is it necessary to replace the stock LQ4 oil pump & timing chain? How much HP would I gain with ported & heavily milled 243's?

thanks

Comp LSr 219/227 .607/.614 112LSA

You know, I just tried to download that and it isnt compatible with win7 I guess. It sounds like a cool program too.

P.S. I saw your vette vs camaro thread...I would say go with the vette. The interior is comfortable, the gauge cluster is very driver friendly and the engine bay makes it easy to work on. Plus they getting dirt cheap...you can't lose. Just be very weary of heavy modded cars, I learned the hard way. 15k mile engine completely trashed and I wasn't educated enough to know better.

Thank you for your input and heads up. It's very appreciated. For the record, the Vette I have my eyes on has nothing done but an exhaust.

The desktop dyno is actually a VERY cool program. I have that and desktop drag as well.

I was thinking about making a thread for mine too but I don't want it to die out like this one. But I have an LQ4, 5.3 heads with 2" intake valves (maybe a p&p), LS2 intake with 102mm TB, LS6 cam. I don't know if I'm crazy, but I'm hoping for 450hp.

I'll guess 400 rwhp on current combo. Some Advanced Inductions 243s will
bump that to at least 440.
