Default any ideas what i will run????

i plan on hitting the track for the first time when it opens and wanted to get an idea what my setup might do.

current mods: lt/ory/maganflow, ls6 intake, flt trans, ss3600 phb/lca frost tune

before i go ill be getting an ssra, ported tb, toyo tq drag radials, and lca relo brackets. as far as weight reduction ill be pulling the ac, back seats and front sway bar.

if i can get a 12.5 ill be pretty happy.

what do you guys think my car can do if i hook??

I would not even consider those tires. nitto or mickey thompsons. otherwise give it up.

without a cam I dont see you making it past 12.9 or 12.8., But then again that depends on how much weight you eventually drop and how much you weigh. lots of things. if you can get the 1.6 60 foot youll be doing good.

flash the converter. leave off idle. dont be afraid to light those drag radials up real good. I would recommend NT05R for your power level.

really a 12.8-9?? is that with my current street tires? ik of a guy who hit 11.9x with a set up very similar to me with a bolt on SS. not saying ill be close to that but i think i can do better than a 12.8.

iv read better things about the tq's vs the 555r. my car is a street car/dd and i dont really want mts right now for how much i drive the car.

I think that combo will pull a 12.3 or better easy.

I would like to think thats a typo but it still wouldnt make sense if it was.

My car bolt on only STOCK stall did a 12.6 in -1245 da

Same car with addition of ss3600 stall did a 12.0 in -1124 da

Same car with 100-150lbs weight reduction did 11.9 in -187 da

Mark with good tires, you hook, and weather...it has a very wide range on what the car could run. I would say under 12.5 no problem.

oh no its not a typo. i just havent explained myself. based on the fact that you want to run toyos on a 3600 stall.....that is why I think you will run high 12's. Not that the setup is not capable of going faster, just a lack of traction based on what you have going on. I ran 12.2's spinning off the line with NT05R's and a 3200 stall but I had a cam as well, once I hooked it was easy 11.7-11.8. Once you hook youll get down there. Good luck, and post up those times!

Dude those Toyo's will do just fine...I ran them after my Nitto 555R's and they were MUCH better! I think you will see a 12.5 at bare minimum...
