Ill look and see its not flat on bottom . I got this car for a guy that put heads on it but the guy he paid to do the work took the fast intake off and told him it was cracked so I don't know . But when I put heads studs and a cam in it the intake wasn't flat on bottom

Thanks to the many posts and advice and results on these forums I went with a mild and inexpensive co-ordinated setup on my 1999 Camaro. Just off the DynoJet with 408 rwhp and 389 torque.
Cam: Texas Speed 228R 112lsa
Heads: 241stock heads with Texas Speed PRC 2.5 level
Intake: stock LS6
Injectors: Bosch 36"
Everything else is stock.
Next stop is the strip to see how this performs. On the dyno the torque readings are almost flat from 3500rpm to 5800rpm and the horsepower doesn't drop until 6300 rpm. It feels great on the butt dyno.
The work was easy to do myself and for $2500 in parts it's a great almost 100 rwhp improvement.
Thanks to everyone that posted their results and opinions.
