Default 2000 Camaro SS w/bolt ons

2000 Camaro SS A4 was stock with lid, Detroit locket and MagnaFlo muffler only ran a 13.6. I will be doing a dynotune within the next few weeks. I just completed the following bolts mods:

- LS6 intake (EGR and air pump delete)
- ported TB
- SSRA
- SE 1 7/8 LT's
- Hooker BH true duals
- NGK plugs, MDS wires

I'm hoping for 13.0-12.9 et. I plan to do a 3600 stall in the future.

Whats your guess on the dyno? 340rwhp?

What tires will you be running? And yes 340 rwhp is a good estimate on your average dynojet dyno

My buddy ran a 12.9 at 108 with the same basic setup as you on street tires

The numbers exceeded my expectations, but I don't think the car feels that much quicker. Shouldn't I feel 50-60ph increase? Shouldn't I get more wheelspin between 1s and 2nd? It is much hotter outside than the last time I drove it.... I know that makes a difference.

Mph seems a little low to be honest. So do you know what the DA was? How about the temps?

Sucks that I didn't get a 60' on this run. I blew away a late model 5.0 on this pass.

DA is 2418. Temps were in the mid 80's. The above mods reduced my E/T of .5 second. I was really hoping to be high 12's but I'm happy with the .5 second reduction. PTC 3600 trans cooler and Aeroforce Interceptor are likely next.

It's really not that bad for being a M6 and on street tires, but the mph is a little low for all those mods. Which is why I never go by the dyno numbers

My car is an auto. Dynotune only gained me 8rwhp and 6ft/lbs of torque. The majority of my gain was from my mods. The 1st run on the dyno was before he tweaked anything. In hindsight, I probably would have been as well off with a Frost tune.... but I wouldn't have the cool chart and numbers to go with it. Dynotune was $350.

No problem. Does that make you feel better or worse about my numbers?

Before you call it a complete loss there's still quite a bit that hasn't been touched.
What kind of rear end gears are you running? Any suspension mods?

From my understanding, the exhaust upgrades you did helped top end power, but low end power suffers alittle bit, which is why the car still feels the same in normal daily driving, you wont feel it on the streets as you seldomly ever need more than 25% throttle to drive an LS1 around town. It balances out on the track though.

Personally, better. A4's run consistent times, not the fastest times.
