Default Tips to beat 2011 5.0 coyote

I would like some tips to beat a bolt on/ straight pipe 2011 5.0 coyote. He got me pretty good at a 40 roll. He is standard I'm a built a4. I have a ls1 with slp lid, 1 3/4 long tubes, 3" ory pipe straight pipe. Stock converter, stock rear gears, texas speed 230/236 113lsa cam. Tuned by khp. Stock heads and intake still. Next run we will be running from a dig 0 to 100 for couple hundred dollars.

Higher stall converter will be the single best upgrade with your current list. Around 3600 stall should do great

3600-4000 would be better, but 3200 would help for sure

You need more stall than 3200.

How high are you spinning your motor?

I would go with a 4000 stall. With 3.73's it will be perfect.

If you want to win that race go with a 4000 and a set of Hoosier Dr2 radials and that race will be over before it started.

3600 or 4000 stall without question. Yank or Circle D are best.

by adding a 3600 stall you'll effectively be adding 100rwhp when you kick it down and i doubt he'll walk on you with that cam.
