Another NJ cehvy dealer closes.
New Norris Chevrolet in Westfield, NJ closed down today.
I saw all of the cars being loaded onto car carriers a few minutes ago.
I found the following article.

This sucks, I bought a few cars and always had warranty repairs done there.

That is a good thing for Pontiac.
Back in early 2000, when I went to Cerami to look at WS6 TAs, they would not let me even start one without putting a deposit on it. They kept saying "It is a specialty vehicle blah blah blah...." They had over 10 WS6 TAs on there lot, all because they didn't want to work with potential buyers.
A week later, I went to a dealer is Little Falls to again look at the TAs. The first thing the sales person said was "Do you want to go for a test drive?" Which dealer do you think I bought from?
I bought a Impala SS for the wife from New Norris Chevrolet about 2 years ago. It was an absolutely painless process, they ordered exactly what she wanted, it arrived on time. It was really a pleasure doing business with them.

read up on jalopnik and other like sites. its unfortunately official: saturn is being shut down nation-wide. it could be picked up by another brand, as could hummer, but its doubtful. also, worse then anything, Pontiac wont be a brand anymore either. all hopes of it being the performance division of GM, with all RWD lineups, have gone down the *******. they say its being kept as a 'nameplate only' or something like that. meaning, i suppose, youll be at a chevy dealer looking at a new malibu, and have a rebadged malibu next to it called a Pontiac.
