I've driven just about all types of shifters and prefer the pro 5.0 on my car.

MGW is about the best one you can get. I've had B&M, pro 5.0 and hurst. MGW has been the best for me.

X3 And I have the UMI performance short shifter. Feels real good to me, Pro 5.0 is another nice shifter, it is a little noisier but a very nice piece.

May I also recommend "lou's short throw stick" to go along with whichever short throw shifter you decide.

I have a pro 5.0 and couldn't STAND the short stick. Yeah, nice short throws, but too short.

The stock 5.0 stick -1 inch seems like it would be perfect.

MGW hands down. Has everything the 5.0 has except those weak *** centering springs and isnt as notchy feeling or as loud.

Thats exactly what I did on my f-bodys... Pro 5.0 and cut almost an inch off the stick that comes with it.

Like Noyzee said... for a Vette the B&M!

I also had a Pro 5.0 in my Camaro. I cut about 1" off the top too since there is like 1.5-2" of thread on it. LOVED it.
