Pretty much a drag race around seekonk speedway. 1 lap, winner stays for the next round, loser is eliminated. When it gets down to the last 2 cars it's a 2 lap race. Supposed to be street legal, registered cars.

so whats the big deal with the 100ft drags.. Sounds pointless.
Spectator drags sounds fun and although I'm worried about getting hit or hitting the wall I am still gonna do it sometime with the rx7.
I think the rx7 would do well as it handles as well as it moves out on a drag strip. Only big downside is I cant do spectator drags on et streets (that wouldent end well lol) and if I try to launch on drag radials (I have 555Rs) or street tires (also have Azenis 615s) I wheel hop like crazy.

How fast do you get goin around the track? (obviously I know this depends but I'm saying on avg or give me a realistic range) My second gear is only good till about 60.. and I'm wondering if I'm gonna be right between 2nd and 3rd in the straights.
And when is the next spectator drags.. looks like on the website they only run like 4 or 5 a year and there wont be another till aug 2nd. I thought they ran em like every weekend

I've got to see how they handle. I havent even pushed the car to the limit yet anywhere other than in a straight line and I'm a new driver.. so it'll be interesting. I may just go with the street tires the first time out because they seem more predictable.

man i wanna enter my car there one day but im also too nervous about getting hit. some of them guys always come within inches. last yr when i went the final 4 were all camaros but the 1980 and a 3rd gen was the last 2. im so surprised how well the 4th gens do around that track. also some of the nissan 240's handle awesome too but they need more power
