Default Capitol Raceway results from 11/21/10

Well a couple of us went to Capitol Raceway today and figured we should have a thread for our new bests and runs from today.

I was able to get a new best ET and MPH.
Runs went as follows.
60ft-1.646
330ft-4.583
1/8mi-6.961
1/8mph-105.15-new best
1000ft-8.984
1/4mi-10.695
1/4mph-133.41mph-new best

next run
60ft-1.627-car hopped/spun
330ft-4.532
1/8mi-6.916
1/8mph-104.68mph
1000ft-8.944
1/4mi-10.661
1/4mph-132.86mph

last run
60ft-1.713-car bogged so bad it was down to 1000rpms after 4000rpm launch!
330ft-4.671
1/8mi-7.049
1/8mph-104.90
1000ft-9.073
1/4mi-10.786
1/4mph-133.07mph

In car videos of the runs

So basically a huge let down cause the car was there, the shifting was there. Just needed the track and 60ft to come together which is always the tough part I guess. This really sucks after leaving out of a 6.880 at 104mph last week at cecil. We had great weather and I put 275/40/17's Mickey Thompson Drag radials (thanks to Billy B). The car definitely likes the slightly shorter tire versus the Hoosier 315/35/17 I was running.

That little LS7 is gonna fly once the 60fts come down to 1.4x's and even better air and track prep. I see 10.2's at 136mph in your future!!! Badass to have the simplicity of the NA 427/LS7 isnt it AJ

Pending family commitments I may need your encouragement(and an orange turd in the other lane)this coming weekend as I try and push the brick into the sub 11.6s.

Hopefully when you guys go to MIR they aren't stingy with the water in the burnout box. Had some trouble pushing the front tires and wheel hop during a few burnouts. Wondering if that had something to do with me breaking my driveshaft at the end of the day?.... Track prep was stellar otherwise. Good luck to you all in december. I'm done for the year now.

Borrow Lt.Dans rear end...(hell I think Devilish has borrowed Lt.Dans rear end some... But hey I dont think it was his cars rear end.) Its going to be nothing but a parts car for a year soon as he gets in the new house...

This was my last outing anyway. Gotta send the converter out to get tightened and start with a few cosmetic upgrades. Don't want the spring to get here before it's ready.

BTW my rear is fine just my shaft broke
