I would stay away from fbody central. Car runs like total **** after their tune. I would drive the extra miles to cartek or rapid in PA.

goinbroke ,thanks for the vote of confidence, as Kevin from eastside says

( Most likley your problem is tuning. You will never obtain 'stock' drivability with your cam. It will be livable, but there are always going to querks when driving around with that big of a cam.)
We have never refused to retune or make tuning adjustments to any customers cars that have had problems. If you dont think it's something we can handle just swing by the shop and I will put your stock tune back in your car and give you a full refund on the tuning.

By the way goinbroke Jeff an empoyee of mine let you borrow his asp pulley till yours came in ,you have not returned his pulley nor have you returned his phone calls so as far as I am concerned you have stolen the pulley. Please return the pulley to Jeff and if you have a problem with the tuning you payed for talk to me.

FBC tuned my can and it runs 11.12 w/baby cam. Every time I have had any problems they have always fixed it ASAP.

Well, F-Body Central does all the work to my car and I am totally happy! Tuning a big cam isn't easy, but they did a great job on mine. Sure it took a little bit of time, but what do you expect with a big cam?? FBC will make sure you are happy no matter what it takes - the only unhappy customer must be one who didn't give them the opportunity to make it right!

Goinbroke - give Jeff that pulley back so we can put in on my car

I am glad that you guys are happy with their tuning. I guess i was not so lucky. Maybe they would have taken care of the problems but i was running out of time and money. 2 full days and $200 in dyno time should have been plenty to get it right. How many people on here can just say **** work for however long it takes and pay god knows how many hours on the dyno and still pay the bills. Sorry but not me. I am going to rapid for tuning this week and i bet they can get it right within hours on the same day and have the car running right. Will let you know.

So add the total up. $375 fbc tuning + $200 dyno time car runs like ****.
Go to Rapid for another tune-$600 total.

Grand total $1175 Pretty high for a tune huh.

Don't forget this will be my third day off work when it should have been done in 1 day.

So you're going to hold the pulley for ransom?
There are hundreds of cars that are completely satisfied with the tuning from Jason and Jeff at FBC. At least go back and give them the chance to fix the issue before you bash them on a National Tech board.

Ditto that. FBC tuning (actually Fireball) got me 360+ HP w/ a stock cam, then 383 HP with a baby cam (218/224) through shorty headers and OEM cats. Jason and Jeff also tweaked the tune for me afterwards for driveability, at no charge.

FBC rules!

Just ask him to race Chad, his car did leave here with 438 SAE hp, the most from a heads/cam setup untill last month on our dyno. Be skeered
