Excellent driving today Mr slowhawk
today was pretty good
it ways 3880 with don in it so heavier with me in it ...fastest mph was 142, best 60 was 1.71, and best time was 10.5
Most boost we did was 12-13psi with 93 and c16 mix. Left the timing at 14 wot and didnt push the boost past 12-13 because the car almost hit the wall once and every run it spun all the way to the end of the 1/4. I need a serious wide slick before we push it again. Also its out of gear at 142.
If i ever bother going to that **** track again i will get a 3.50 gear and some tires. Not really in a rush and could care less really. I know its got a 9.50 and 150+ trap with 15psi and 18-20 timing
Don had trouble getting the turbo to spool hard out of the whole because it cooled down from people ******* up the track and us waiting
Needless to say in very happy with the car, its a beast
Don can chime in since he risked his life

Saw the runs also. Ditto on what you said. Got a couple pics (film) also .
What I saw was spin with a simultaneous turbo whine and excellent driving by Slowhawk as the car acted like it was greased-ice. It was scary near the end when he did the 10.5 when he kinda crossed the divider line at the end but excellent recovery
The way I see it is you wanted a street car. Hell you still have the stock suspension. YOu may be over powered AND under tired, but the spinning is sure a great power release valve so as you won't damage the drivetrain. Imagine if you did have the tire for the job.
I must admit it was to watch him spin the enitire 1/4 mile
and he didn't miss-shift either
had a blast. Wish I coulda stayed longer. Glad to see the Krew made it

by stock suspension you mean tubular everything, lca, upper/lower control arms, k member, panhard, sway bar, wolf subframes and the double adj strange 10 ways all around. Ya its pretty stock
But the tq arm and springs are stock so you were close

I will say it was the scariest car I've driven yet.The MPH gauge was bouncing all the way down the track while I was steering trying to keep it straight Those 26-10-16 ET street's just wouldn't hold.
I did get 1 good boosted launch but spun to a 1.7 60'.
Car would probly go 9.9 easilly enough with some more tire and a better boost launch.Friggin thing is a pig too

absolutly awsome to see the beast go today and huge props to don somehow managing to keep it on the track . i think the second run he was hitting the 60' sideways watched the vids that were taken with my camera and the car just takes off like an animal , all you hear is turbo lol
you with out a doubt need a full slick and probbly 12" wide to keep the car safe on the track after the way it reacted today

I was thinking about it. All we did was a new set of plugs (for a piece of mind) and mounted the small ET street's. Nothing else was touched except taking out the wash bucket It was 100% street suspension for a nice smooth ride ect.
If we just tightened the suspension and ran a tire that would hold it probly wouldn't spin the length of the track and result in alot better time
Screw it, it's 100% street car
