New, super strict water restrictions just went into effect in the Tampa Bay area. If you are on city water, you cannot wash your car at home anymore.

Question

why won't you buy more spritzer/cleaning solution...no need for water then...... You can use a pail from inside..I bet ya. Just no hoses.

Wells are awesome. I'm exempt from the water restrictions - no, you guys can't come here to wash your car. lol

As far as installing one, you're looking at between $9,000-$15,000 depending on how far down your water table is. Mine is 175 ft and it cost $7,000 to drill back in 02'. The initial investment is high, but my grass is always green and my car is always clean.

First of all, how in the hell would the city know you washed your car? I don't think they can tell the difference between the water used coming out of your hose and that coming out of your fawcet/shower. Second, what do you think the chances are of a person who can do anything about it rolling up on you? I'm betting its slim.

they dont have to do ****. they see you violating the ordinance, they write you a ticket. if you dont pay it, then you can go to court and pay costs + ticket + fines.
